Every time one logs in - in my case not very often, the settings and privacy this and posting that all change. All the buttons moved and ways a simple facebook operates seem different. Give up. Impossible t keep concentration on prose and poetry. Creativity.

Other than from 2010 my major foray and several years long stream of consciousness poem with facts woven in, that did provide artistic response and i would recommend to anyone as a way to live on, there were maybe one or two options as to whether one wished ones 'blog' to be searchable / findable via Google. Which never seemed to work anyway. Now there are half a dozen gobbledygook options on just that: one needs a degree in computer science to know which slider to slide to yes or no.

Which is why this one most poignant image - assuming this link takes some browser to it, is so. The terrible effects of chicken factories here where it is daft they are placed because it means lorries going through 100 miles of windy enough roads to get here never mind more rain than average in flatter lands, and thus dangerous runoff - that no one created alliances to fight them back as thy invaded this county means of course they are now to invade the next county. It is no good huffing and puffing on Facebook. You have to do the WORK - legally block, take cases, do the science to establish actual pollution (i was at yesterday a little with the only one Environmental Agency for several large counties - she herself admitting she can only play at it and we need citizen science monitors too - river pollutants). But there is no point ever again caring as no one else can do all of that we have known for years required.
And this i retire. To only write. Because people allowed this...people.... 'my side' ... which means i failed too, to manage to inspire them to be allies for real. And block or at least try to block some f this. Which will happen. When the rapacious Tory/Republican capitalists are in charge with such a large majority in Parliament, it will. And thus I am free to leave.
